Worship
Services
Castle Cary Methodist Church offers a wide range of worship styles and experiences.
On most Sundays there are two services in the church:
A morning service at 10.30 am. Once a month there is a Family Communion Service. Sunday School is offered each week in age specific groups except for the monthly all-age morning worship in which the whole church family worships together.
An evening service at 6.30 pm – a smaller, more intimate atmosphere, perfect for those who wish for a quieter and more contemplative form of worship.
Following the Methodist tradition, each service is led by a different preacher who may be a Minister or a local preacher. This means that we hear and discuss many different viewpoints and interpretations of the Bible, scripture and what it means to be a Christian.
Children
Children’s worship is very important to us and we are very fortunate to have a vibrant program of children’s worship for all ages.
Music
Music as worship is at the heart of what we do at Castle Cary Methodist Church. There is a team of musicians who offer both traditional and modern Christian music during services and events.
Seasonal
At different times of the Christian calendar, the Church celebrates with special services.
